Wilson - Sidner Betts

Mrs. Truitt Wilson, a former resident of Darlington, died at her home in Crawfordsville, Friday morning July 26 at 10 o'clock. She was formerly Miss Sidner Janet Betts and was born near Shannondale Sept 6, 1843. In 1860 she married GeorgeTruitt Wilson. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank O. Maxwell, Sr. In her youth she joined the East Christian Church here and was a member at the time of her death. She was also a member of the Pythian Sisters, the Ladies' Bible Class and the Foreign Missionary Society of the First ME Church of Crawfordsville. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon and was in charge of Rev. Bradbury. -- kbz
